Résumé

The aim of this project is to identify the uses and advantages of the scholastic integration of the game Minecraft. This study was conducted with 118 elementary school students, which allowed them to reap the benefits of a supported and purposeful use of Minecraft. Overall, ten data collection tools were used throughout the study. The supported gameplay, created specifically for this research project, revealed multiple positive outcomes to the use of this video game in a scholastic setting, including: increased motivation, learning of computer programming, development of computer science skills.
