Résumé
To enhance the training of future primary school teachers, this study examines the effectiveness of the integrative alternating training program at HEP Vaud, Switzerland. Within the context of primary education, it assesses the use of behaviorist-inspired systems, particularly the application of emulation systems by novice teachers for managing student behavior. Our findings indicate that, in our sample, teachers who utilized emulation systems typically learned about them either through field experience or during their practicum, rather than as part of formal training at an educational institute. Additionally, we observed that these teachers often have only a partial understanding of the systems and tend to apply them as a set of tips and tricks, rather than based on a thorough knowledge of the underlying principles.
